Stock the Board
Cards flip face-up into a shared market. Everyone claims one in secret, into multiplier slots that turn a good card into a great one.
- 5 rounds · ~12–15 min
- 2–20 players
- Hidden simultaneous drafting
- Big reveal
How to play
- Six cards flip into the market one at a time, synced on every screen. Values run 1–10, and high cards are rare.
- You secretly claim one card into one of five private slots: ×3, ×2, ×2, ×1, ×1. Every round fills exactly one slot, so the ×3 you burn early is gone for good.
- Claims aren't exclusive. Five people can draft the same card and nobody knows until the end.
- After five rounds, the reveal resolves one player's board at a time. Highest total takes the first pick.
The special cards
- Copycat scores equal to the best value card on the rest of your board. Place it early, pray later.
- Anchor is a flat 8 that ignores its slot multiplier. Safe points, wasted ×3.
- Volatile is a public coin flip at the reveal: 1 or 12, then your multiplier applies.
- Thief is worth 4× its slot, plus a 5-point bonus if you were the only player who claimed a Thief that round.
The agony
The slot economy creates real agony. Burn the ×3 on a 7 now, or hold it hoping a 9 shows up in a market everyone else is watching too? The board-by-board reveal, with Volatile flips landing live, is the noisiest finish of the five games.
