Bank or Bust

A shared pot ticks up as the server rolls dice every three seconds. Bank your share in secret before a seven wipes the round.

How to play

  1. The server rolls two dice every 3 seconds on everyone's screens at once, adding to a shared pot.
  2. The first three rolls are safe. A seven there adds 70 to the pot instead of busting.
  3. From roll four on, a seven is a bust: the round ends and everyone still in scores zero. Doubles double the whole pot.
  4. Tap BANK at any moment to lock the current pot as your round score. Banking is secret. At most the room sees an anonymous "3 of 12 banked" ticker.
  5. Five rounds, highest total takes the first pick.

The twist rounds

With modifiers on (a host toggle), round four is Double Stakes, where round scores count twice. Round five is the Shield round: everyone holds a one-time shield that pays out half the pot if the bust catches you still in. The greedy hold their nerve, and the whole table yells at every roll once sevens go live.

The loud one

There's exactly one decision, which is when to bank, so nobody needs a rules lecture. Watching the last unbanked player ride a doubling pot is the loudest the room gets. It's the best game to run while everyone is still trickling into the lobby.
